Thanksgiving Weekend

What a great Thanksgiving this year! I have SOOO many things to be thankful for. One that I have been thinking about the past week is my Mom. I am greatly thankful for her. She had back surgery a week and a half ago. To see her in pain and not being herself has been really hard to watch but she is recovering and doing great slowly! I love her so much and look up to her so much.
This Thanksgiving we went to our grandma and grandpa Walkers house. It was wonderful and relaxing. We got there about 1:30pm and didn't leave till about 11pm. We played card games for hours and hours. Its always a blast when you get the Walker family together. I always laugh so hard. We planned our strategy for Black Friday shopping and man did we do good!

My cute grandparents. I am very grateful for them!
I love my husband! I love laughing everyday with him.
We got to Home Depot about 3:45am and we got right in the front, 6th in line. It was SO cold but thanks to Laur and Trav for getting Krista and I hot chocolate. Every year I always go shopping with my aunt Laurie and cousin Travis and sister Krista. We sure did miss Niccol this year, she is on her LDS mission. We were in and out of Home Depot in 15 minutes.

We then ran over to Smiths MarketPlace and hooked up on 1/2 off socks and other fun things. The check out lady was not very nice though. My cute gloves I was buying for myself did not have a tag on it so she wouldn't let me get them. I was bugged! After I said "so what are you going to do about it"? and her replying "sorry I cant do anything", and I replying "whatever, I just want to get our of her..so do I have to bag up my own stuff too"? HAHA. As you can tell I was very annoyed. By that time I was done with the whole shopping thing. After shopping we headed to IHOP and got some yummy breakfast. I took a power nap for 20 minutes at my sisters and then I was off to work. Later on in the day Billy picked me up at work and we headed to Gateway to see The Blind Side. We went with my aunt and uncle and cousins. It was very good! A very positive, happy movie. Later that evening we ran over to my other grandparents house for ANOTHER Thanksgiving dinner. What a crazy day I had but it was so fun!!
Today I will be decorating the tree, decorating the house and then heading over to the BYU/UTAH game..go BYU!!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Sounds like a fun weekend! I still think you guys are crazy to go shopping so early (and then if you had to go to work after)! I'm glad that BYU won the game. Happy Thanksgiving!
