Time Out For Women

What an amazing weekend I had! I dont think I have ever been this spiritually uplifted like this in a very long time. I feel refreshed, re-energized, rejuvinated, etc. This year for the first time Time Our for Women came to SLC so we got our tickets a couple months ago. We wanted to make it a girls weekend so we stayed overnight at a Bed and Breakfast Mansion. It was a beautiful place where stayed at. We stayed at the Armstrong Bed and Breakfast.
Friday we had the conference from 6:30pm-9pm. Sheri Dew and Sister Nielsen spoke and wow was it great! My dream did finally come true and I did meet Sheri Dew. It didn't go over that well though HAHA...so my aunt grabbed my hand and said "Megan you are going to meet her finally, come follow me. There was a big group around Sheri wanting pictures, talking, signing books. I stood there soo nervous and really not thinking I was going to meet her. I turned to my aunt and said while laughing, "This is like meeting Celine Dion, I am so nervous"!. Well the time finally came and I pushed my way to the front and said to Sheri Dew, "Can I get a picture with you please"? She smiled and said yes of course. Right then my aunt says to Sheri "she is so excited to meet you, she just told me its like meeting Celine Dion"...I could not believe my aunt said that! She said it jokingly and we all thought Sheri would start laughing..that was not the case. Sheri turned to me and said "wow, you need to get our more". I wanted to die!! haha. After I got a picture we all walked away and started laughing so hard. I looked at my camera to see the pic of me and Sheri and wow...Sheri was not smiling. This is going to be a laughing joke with all of us for a very long time!!

Today we had conference from 9AM-4PM and that time went by so fast. I did not want to leave. This years topic was "SWEET ASSURANCE, the certainty that comes when you know lifes truths". Here are some great pictures from our weekend. I am a better person then I was when I left and am so grateful for amazing speakers and teaching me how to be a better person.





During Fridays conference we had a 20 minute break so Mary Ann and I took some funny pictures :)

We didn't get much sleep! We went to bed around 1:3oam and had to be up at 6:45am. We just stayed up and laughed and talked. The Bed and Breakfast brought us some warm cookies and milk about 11:00pm..they were yummy! I love how I am so close to my aunts, sisters, and grandma.

All of us girls. I cant wait to go next year. We sure missed you mom!!
