I have made a decision to take off my fake nails..I know you are probably laughing at this moment but I have had nails on for over 1 1/2 yrs straight. Do you ever feel better or pretty when you get your hair cut? colored? tan? new outfit? Well I feel pretty when I have my nails done. Billy and I have sat down to see where we could cut things in our life to save money. When he brought up my nails I just laughed at him and said no way! Well I have thought about it and well..it would save about $60 a month just in getting my nails done. So nails are coming off for a while. Plus my girlfriend that does my nails is about to pop with a new baby girl so I thought it was a perfect time too. So please when you see me, do NOT look at my hands! LOL ;)
Some other things we have started to do for the last 2 months is both of us taking home lunches EVERYDAY to work. Wow it sure does save LOTS of money there!
Any of you having to cut things in your life because of the economy??
P.S. I still cant cut my DVR off!

oh you should never cut off your dvr! i would rather cut everything but that!! good luck!
i've pretty much had to cut everything! sucks! i'm even skimping on makeup! OH NO!!!
Never cut the dvr! I could not live with out mine and I would miss all my shows if I did not have it.
Do not cut off your dvr, that would be tragic:) but the nails, it'll be ok. I've had mine done once and I hated them, i felt pretty until I couldn't perform a single task without wanting to rip them off! 12 x 60.. that's a lot of money:) I'm not doing the math.
It's definitely not fun having to make those cuts. We've started taking more lunches to work and it's amazing how that little change helps a lot! Good luck!
I know exactly how you feel girl...times are just harder these days. We too have been cutting down on a lot of things...and let me tell you...it was SOOO hard to get rid of my cable and DVR...but its def been helping the wallet. ;)
That is so hard to try and decide what you can cut, its never fun. Thats great though that you can sacrifice something like that. By the way, what happened to your weekly food storage post?
