Tea Party, Crafts, and Jammin'

Saturday was a fun busy day. We started at 9AM at my sister Krista's house and made strawberry jam. Last year was our first time that my mom had taught us how to make jam so this year it went a lot faster beacause we knew what we were doing. While we were making jam I was doing a craft at the same time. I love this blog and came across this craft and wanted to try it. http://thriftyandchicdecor.blogspot.com/2010/04/diy-jute-balls.html

After we got done making the jam we headed over to my grandmas house and had a Spring Tea Party. My grandma was so sweet and went all out for the tea party. She even used my great grandmas nice china. It was great to hear how she meet my stepgrandpa (so romantic), stories of my moms childhood, and just laughing all together. We are now going to try to do these get togethers twice a year. I think it will be a great tradition and will make for some great memories.

Spring is finally here!!
