Lava Hawt Springs

We had a great weekend camping at Lava Hot Springs. I have not been there in years so we were pretty excited to go. We all said that we want to start going every summer at the same weekend in June because it wasn't HOT and it wasn't too crazy busy like it is in July and August. Everyone made it except Morgan, she was in Californai, we missed you sis!! Saturday we got to the pool early and were in line right when it opened. We were so glad we did so everyone could go do the big slides before it got crazy..and we were right, about 2 hrs later the slides had over a 1 hr wait.

I told myself I was going to go down the slides..until I got there. Their was no way I was going too. Billy did and boy was it funny seeing him go down. You are supposed to cross your legs and hands, and when he came down his feet and hands were over the slide like he was trying to stop in the middle. It was the funniest thing I have EVER seen. We all couldn't stop laughing.






This lady is so nasty tan! It was a inside joke with my family. She was there ALL day. Starting at 11am till at least 6 pm, she layed in that chair the whole time! Every hour she would switch to her back or her front, we would all say "The burger just turned over"!! I had to take a picture of her.

We had a great time! We have lots of stories about the river. Billy did break his finger and is in a full soft cast :( and has a doctors appointment with orthopedic surgeon to make sure everything is ok. I guess everytime the Walker family gets together their is always a story!
