My birthday this year was during Easter weekend so the whole family except my little sis headed up to the condo in Island Park. Billy and I could only stay Friday through Sunday but we still had a great time.
Had to take a picture of this plant. It's my moms easter plant. She said she had to bring it up to the condo or it would die. My dad refused to she asked Billy and I if we would take it in our car, it was so funny. So Billy put it in it's own seat :)
My parents and us were the first ones up there so they took us out to dinner because the day before was our Anniversary. Everything is still closed in April so there was only a couple places to choose from to eat. We went to a place we have never heard of..Shotgun, you would think that would give you a clue. Lets just say it was VERY interesting place, we laughed pretty much the whole time because it was so creepy and nasty. Our waitress was drinking beer has she was serving us, and was about my age and had like no teeth HAHA.
Love how Alex is doing the peace sign
My birthday morning with my nieces.
On our way into Yellowstone Park on my birthday. We went to West Yellowstone for a Easter Egg Hunt for the girls.
After the Easter Egg Hunts we went back over to my parents condo and they had decorated it for my birthday dinner, it made me smile.
After swimming and coloring eggs we came back for dessert
Easter Sunday we got up and went to church at Island Park's Ward. There was so much snow that you couldn't see out of the windows of the church, had to get a picture of it.
Billy and I had to leave to come back home around 4 so we had our yummy Easter Dinner after church. My mom also made her famous peanut butter eggs. THEY ARE AMAZING. She makes them every year since I was very little and puts our names on them.
We had a great time spending time with our family and me turning a year older. I wouldn't spend the day with anyone else.

Looks like a lot of fun! I miss the days of going up there with your mom! Good times! Glad you had a great weekend!
Ha ha ha! I grew up at shotgun village! That is where my Grandpa's cabin was. When I was a kid it used to be just a gas station and a convenience store, but it's gone out of business a few times and opens up again as something different. I used to walk to that store, buy some candy, and then go and wade in the stream that is right next to it. I love Island Park. Heaven on Earth.
I'm glad you could have such a fun weekend! You had a lot of events and it definitely lived up to the excitement.
Happy Birthday! Looks like a lot of fun!
