It started off with Christmas Eve and going to my parents house for dinner and of reading out of the scriptures about Jesus's birth. While we were eating dinner, there was a knock on the door and sure enough it was Santa. He always stops by every year at my parents and wishes us a Merry Christmas. Every year my dad is incharge of the reading out of the scriptures but this year my sister Krista took over and made it more....LIVELY :) Krista did a fantastic job!
After getting home from my parents house we did our tradition of opening one present that is under the tree for each of us. Of course they were a pair of pajamas and Billy was not very happy of me taking of picture of him in his pjs by the camera but he was a good sport!
My pajamas were a little big but they worked and were super cute! Thanks babe!
Christmas morning came and Billy tried to wake me up over 3 times. He was super excited and so finally around 8:30 I got up. Santa had our stockings full of treats and presents.
We opened our presents and than got ready for the day and headed over to my parents house for breakfast and being with the family. We had a awesome breakfast with omelets, bacon, and scones.
Abee and I sharing a piece of bacon before breakfast started
Billy and our nieces Aree, and Alex were hooked on what Santa had given them. I had to take a picture of this. We all couldn't stop laughing.
After having our yummy breakfast we opened our presents and had a great time! Us sisters and our hubbys went in on getting our nieces cute outfits. These coats were my favorite!
After staying at my parents house and watching movies and hanging out my family we went over to my grandma and grandpa Walker's house and opened presents with them. They got us a big box of food storage and canned food. Billy was so excited for his pickled vegetables as you can tell in the picture
After spending time with our grandparents we than headed over to my Grandma Jenson's house for Christmas dinner that evening.
My darling parents. They were really tired after a long, crazy day.
We left my grandmas a little early after looking outside and seeing there was already 3 inches on snow on the roads. My grandma lives in Farmington on the mountain so we wanted to get home soon. It was very scary driving home and we are SOO thankful for my dad following us home to Clearfield in his big truck to make sure we got home safe in our little honda civic :) Hope everyone had a great Christmas!!
