30 and counting

On Sunday I had my family over for dinner for my sister in law Haylee's birthday. She is now 30 years old. It was fun to get everyone together even though I was pretty sick that day. I kept reminding Bill during the day that he will be turning 30 in 1 1/2 yrs. Its crazy to think that my hubby will be 30 that soon. I still remember meeting him when he was 22 years old and it seems like that was just 2 years ago. Time FLIES by!

Haylee definitely does not look 30!

Aree, Abee, and Alex with their mom. Love them four to death!

Friends..

Who are TRUE friends?? Let me ask you...

Do you have an answer?

Christmas Calendar

When I was younger every year my mom would give Morgan and I a Christmas calendar that would count down to Christmas. Everyday we would open up the number and there would be a chocolate. We LOVED it! Well my mom has brought down the tradition to my nieces every year. I always told my mom that I miss that and loved those calendars. Well last Sunday while my parents were at our house visiting and I giving my dad a haircut, my mom gave me wrapped present. I was shocked to get one so early before Christmas. Well I opened it and look what it was....

A CHRISTMAS CALENDAR!! We have loved it! On December 2nd when I was getting ready for work I ran into the kitchen to open up the day to get the chocolate and as I went to open it..the chocolate was GONE! Under my breath I said "Dangit!!" Well Billy could hear me in our room and he just started laughing so hard. When he woke up that morning he took the chocolate and closed it back up so I wouldn't notice. Now its a race everyday to see who opens it. I got him back last night when he ran to it to open it and it was already open. HAHA. Its a fun tradition and I cant wait till we have kids to start that with them.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Yesterdays Conversation

I was at work yesterday when my cell phone rang...

Mom-Hi I have a weird question to ask you.
Me-Ok, what is it?
Mom-Does Billy have my debit card?
Me-What??
Mom-I cant find my debit card and I looked online at it showed a transaction at 7-eleven store in Draper..maybe he accidently took it.
Me-*laughing very hard*..mom you are funny.

It was a funny moment. No Billy did not have her debit card. It made my day..

Thanksgiving Weekend

What a great Thanksgiving this year! I have SOOO many things to be thankful for. One that I have been thinking about the past week is my Mom. I am greatly thankful for her. She had back surgery a week and a half ago. To see her in pain and not being herself has been really hard to watch but she is recovering and doing great slowly! I love her so much and look up to her so much.
This Thanksgiving we went to our grandma and grandpa Walkers house. It was wonderful and relaxing. We got there about 1:30pm and didn't leave till about 11pm. We played card games for hours and hours. Its always a blast when you get the Walker family together. I always laugh so hard. We planned our strategy for Black Friday shopping and man did we do good!

My cute grandparents. I am very grateful for them!
I love my husband! I love laughing everyday with him.
We got to Home Depot about 3:45am and we got right in the front, 6th in line. It was SO cold but thanks to Laur and Trav for getting Krista and I hot chocolate. Every year I always go shopping with my aunt Laurie and cousin Travis and sister Krista. We sure did miss Niccol this year, she is on her LDS mission. We were in and out of Home Depot in 15 minutes.

We then ran over to Smiths MarketPlace and hooked up on 1/2 off socks and other fun things. The check out lady was not very nice though. My cute gloves I was buying for myself did not have a tag on it so she wouldn't let me get them. I was bugged! After I said "so what are you going to do about it"? and her replying "sorry I cant do anything", and I replying "whatever, I just want to get our of her..so do I have to bag up my own stuff too"? HAHA. As you can tell I was very annoyed. By that time I was done with the whole shopping thing. After shopping we headed to IHOP and got some yummy breakfast. I took a power nap for 20 minutes at my sisters and then I was off to work. Later on in the day Billy picked me up at work and we headed to Gateway to see The Blind Side. We went with my aunt and uncle and cousins. It was very good! A very positive, happy movie. Later that evening we ran over to my other grandparents house for ANOTHER Thanksgiving dinner. What a crazy day I had but it was so fun!!
Today I will be decorating the tree, decorating the house and then heading over to the BYU/UTAH game..go BYU!!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
