We are here and alive

I wish I could keep blogging and could catch up on the last 2 years...*sigh*. I wanted to be one of those great amazing wife's and mom's that print their blogs into a book. Well, from the last post to now, a lot has been going on. Rigby was born and is our LIFE. He is why I get up every morning and work hard. I hope one day I make him proud.

Surprise Surprise

Well...we are pregnant! We have kept it a little secret just in case we had another miscarriage. We are coming upon week 12 so we felt it was safe to tell people now. I think my family is sure excited not to keep the secret anymore..especially Bill. ha.
We are due July 28th and am excited for a summer baby. I want to be one of the moms that journals the moments during the pregnancy but when I think about it, it just sounds exhausting!
I have been really nauseous starting at week 5 since about week 10 1/2. I would be nauseous in the mornings and in the evenings so it was the longest 5 weeks of my life. I was just telling Bill that I feel that I should already be at least 20 weeks. My work has been so patient with me which I have been so grateful for.
I sleep A LOT. I already sleep a lot anyway without being pregnant so you can imagine how much I sleep on top of it. During the Christmas/New Years break, I slept at least 14-16+ a day. Now I am usually in bed around 8 and asleep by 9ish. Work takes it out of me so when I get home, Bill is so great at making dinner or figuring something out to eat. He has been my rock during the rough weeks. He gets up in the middle of the night to rub my neck as I gotten a migraine during the night. He has gotten up in the night to give me a blessing as I had a scary 2 days a week or so ago. He never complains and is always willing to help me.
I can't figure out how to flip over the picture, so here is a sideways picture of the baby 11 weeks.

A lot going on..

Wow..I have not blogged in forever!! I still look and read blogs but I never am in the mood to blog myself. We have had a lot going on in the last 4 months. We have been on LOTSS of trips and fun vacations. St. George, California, Las Vegas, Island Park again, camping, etc. I made it through summer school which was a struggle for myself. I could of never passed without my hubby Billy, he SAVED me :). Summer has been fantastic but at the same time been a struggle. At the end of June I had a miscarriage, it has been a struggle but am grateful for what it has taught Billy and I. We are closer than we have ever been in our whole marriage. He is my rock and has been supportive through my crazy hormones and post miscarriage blues.
We moved a couple weeks ago to a MUCH bigger townhouse and I am in love with it. It's so nice to finally have a 3 level, 3 bedroom, and basement. The best part is we are still in good old Kaysville that we love.
It's crazy to think that Fall is just around the corner and I am ready to get away from Summer and into canning, pumpkins, yummy scenty fall smells, college football, yummy fall foods, soups, and hoodies.

Love,

Megie

Five Year Anniversary - My Birthday

April 21st was our 5 Year Anniversary. We wanted to do something fun but quick so we headed up to our favorite place, Island Park. My parents have a condo up there so we had a grand ol' time. It was a perfect weekend to go because it was the first weekend Yellowstone opened up for the season so it was FREE to get in, best part! It was nice to just relax, take naps everyday, watch movies, eat, hot tub, swim, and just make memories together.

My birthday is 2 days later so we also celebrated is up in Island Park. We also had a family party and my friends took me to the Cheesecake Factory at City Creek.

March Updates

My friend Laura had baby shower in March and I am so super excited for her. She is having a girl and will be having her in April. She is going to be a great mom.

At work the Director asked me to get a Suite at the Jazz game so I got the suite between us and the Pistons. Great game because we won! The Suite was so nice and the food was yum! I did get lost trying to find the suite and it took about 20-30 minutse to find it (ushers kept telling us the wrong way).

Doesn't Billy look cute with one of my extentions in his hair? HAHA

Hunger Games Girls Night. Had a blast going to dinner and seeing Hunger Games with the ladies. We had a great time laughing and laughing at the girls next to us in the theatre that screamed so loud throughout the whole movie. I jumped so hard when they screamed at a scary points. Oh geezzz. Best part was after the movie the girls said to us "Didn't you guys just scream so loud at those scary parts". HAHA..

For St. Patty's day we had dinner over at my parents and had a green breakfast, it was yum. We had green waffles, green milk, and green breakfast casserole.

This weekend is General Conference and it is great, as always. I am so grateful for my answers that have been answered during the last 2 days listening to our prophets and seers. Last night during Priesthood session, us girls made bunny cakes. Growing up my mom always made bunny cakes during Easter and I am so grateful she has shared the tradition with us girls.

Billy and I are still both going to school and working Full-Time. I got a new promotion at work so I am a little overwhelmed learning but am grateful for the opportunity of advancement.

Christmas 2011

A week before Christmas we had the Walker Christmas Party at my aunt and uncles church in North Salt Lake. Everyone brought there favorite appetizers and we had that for dinner. We also had a candy table with popcorn, candy, and yummy hot chocolate.

We had a movie night and watched Tangled, such a cute movie.

Christmas Eve
We went over to my Grandma J's house that evening and after went to my parents to spend time together and read about the reason for Christmas.

Santa showed up for a minute.
That evening we opened up our one gifts to eachother which is always Pajamas!

Figuring out our self timer was hilarious, I think this was the 10th picture we took that was center.

Christmas Morning
Santa came! Usually Christmas morning we both wake up and say "Merry Christmas"! Well this year I hear "Megan..wake up! Do you know where my pajama bottoms are!?". I opened my eyes and his pajama pants were off HAHA. He had and still has no idea or does he remember taking off his pajama pants in the night. Have you ever gotten hot in the night and taken off some pajamas in the night? I have. I think he did but doesn't remember.

My christmas presents. My favorite gift was a certificate to get a Iphone, it came with a Iphone cover. I look forward to finally having one.

Billy got lots of clothes, he was in need of them badly!
We got dressed and headed up to Ogden and went to church at my brothers ward.

My cute parents ready to make us yummy scones and omletes.

Christmas Evening
We had dinner at my parents house and opened presents with eachother.

Around 8:30pm we headed over to my grandparents and traded presents and my aunts, uncles and cousins were there playing games.

It was great having Christmas on Sunday. I loved getting into the spirit in the morning and taking the sacraments. It was such a great Christmas and sad to think it is already over. Every year I say its the best but every year it gets better for some reason.
I love my family and most importantly I love my husband.
