4th of July Weekend

I love how we got to celebrate the 4th of July for 3 days and I love how I had Monday off. On Saturday we did the usual things..we went to the Centerville parade with the extended family. This year we did something different though, we made breakfast at the parade. My uncle brought his camp chef and made my favorite breakfast, breakfast hash (hasbrowns, eggs and sausage). I think this should be a new tradition :)
Later that day we went over to my aunt and uncles house in Woods Cross and had a BBQ. We sure did miss my parents the whole day. They didn't come to the parade and had tickets to Stadium of Fire to see Carrie Underwood (JEALOUS!!).
That evening we headed over to the Kaysville fireworks at Davis and then went to my grandparents to do some Wyoming fireworks.

We met back up with my friends Katie and Jesse at my grandparents to watch some fireworks.

Sunday evening we celebrated my niece Alex's birthday. We had a great 4th of July BBQ and roasted marshmallows and did fireworks.


Had a big game of badminton.



My dad always does a tradition of getting a little cake for each of my nieces on their birthdays and they all put their faces in it.

We told Alex to close her eyes for her big present so she ended up doing this position, it was hilarious.

TA DA!! A new bike!


Poor Billy..his surgery will be Wednesday to fix his broken finger.

I was freezing! Do you ever remember a Fouth of July where it was cold at night? I dont.


We finished the weekend with roasting BIG marshmallows!!
