Valentines Day

I have always loved Valentines Day,even when I was single, I loved it! My mom would always give us flowers, cards, candy, and she still does! The last 3 years I lived at home, I would wake up on Valentines Day and would have something right next to me on my night stand from my mom. I always loved that about her! Even now that I am married, she comes to my work every Valentines Day with a big plate of treats she has made.

This year I woke up to my cell phone ringing over and over again. I woke up SO annoyed. It was Billy's ring and I didn't get why he was calling me if he was in the other room. (He is a early riser, I am not). So finally I rolled over to grab my phone and sitting on my floor right by my phone was a dozen red roses and a cute bear in a bag. I just started laughing and noticed Billy was laying on the floor at the end of the bed, trying to hide. It was a cute way to start Valentines Day. He also had made me breafast in bed, and it was actually really good! He made me pancakes and eggs. In the early afternoon we went to a matinee movie and he said I could choose the movie. Of course I have been planning to see this movie for months now. I was counting down the days till it came out. The first time I saw the preview of Confessions of a Shopaholic, I knew it was for me! If anyone knows me well, I LOVEEE to shop and am kinda obsessed with it. Billy rolled his eyes when I told him I wanted to see it but didn't argue to see it. He actually really liked it, which he will never admit to anyone.

Before we went to the movie he told me I had to have our bags packed. So after the movie we headed to Salt Lake and checked into the Radisson Hotel and for dinner Billy took me to High Rock Steakhouse. It was good food but I only wish they would of had chicken :). In our hotel room our bed had the Number Beds and it was so funny when we checked in our room. I swear Bill was on the bed trying to find his number for over a hour. He was a little obsessed with that. In the middle of the night I would hear him push the remote and hear the bed going softer or harder.

The next day we went to Gateway and he took me to the Skybox for lunch and let me do what I love to do...shop! We than headed over the the movie theatre at Gateway and went and saw PUSH. I should of listened to Doug Wright..it was so stupid. Billy kinda liked it, but it was kinda dumb for me. Thanks hubby for a GREAT Valentines get away, even if it was just to Salt Lake! *MUAH*
